The 2014 Mnet Asian Music Awards will take place on December 3 at AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong. During the glamorous event, K-Pop idols will swarm the red carpet with designer runway pieces.

There has never been a strict dress code for MAMA. Female stars have worn glorious gowns, mini dresses, tight leather pants, vibrant two pieces suits, killer stilettos, sandals, and everything in between. The men have never been left behind when it comes to unforgettable fashion, donning skull face bandanas, matching school uniforms and the occasional bedazzled vest.

So what hot trends will we see again and again this year on the red carpet? Last year, it was all about full black ensembles, fur coats, and wide-rim vintage hats. I predict that this year we'll see a lot of white, a shift to natural beauty looks, and a lot of finale pieces from the 2015 S/S Seoul Fashion Week.

Here are my five hopes and style guesses for the show!

1. More Korean Designers On The Red Carpet

Korean designers are gaining a lot of international recognition this year for their 2015 Spring/Summer collections.

After the creation of Concept Korea, a collaboration project that shows select Korean designers in New York's Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, Korean brands have gained well-deserved prestige and appreciation.

Designer Kathleen Kye was featured on Vogue Italia's 'New Talents' page because of her contemporary collection and her designs have been in various magazine pictorials, including Starship Entertainment's Christmas Ceci photoshoot.

For the 2014 MAMA show, Kye will be the brand used to look edgy and chic, Lie Sangbong's butterfly collection will be the choice for an ethereal and beautiful look, and Steve J & Yoni P will be worn by the grunge fashion rebels.

2. White Will Be The Color Of The Evening

White was really big in the 2015 S/S runway, both in New York and Seoul Fashion Week.

Two Korean brands that had absolutely beautiful white designs are Jain Song and S=YZ. Their pieces used engraved stitching motifs and sheer fabric. I think a noticeable trend this year will be to appear as light and natural as possible, with the help of soft colors and fabrics.

3. CL Will Likely Wear Moschino or Valentino

2NE1's CL has extended her international fashion connections this year. She attended Valentino's Haute Couture fashion show in Paris in July and Moschino's Spring/Summer 2015 runway show in New York in September. She has a very good relationship with both fashion houses, especially the latter, after Jeremy Scott took over as creative director.

If I could choose one item for her to wear from Valentino, it would be the midnight blue gown with sea-horse design from the 2015 S/S collection. If I could choose one item from the Barbie inspired Moschino 2015 S/S collection for her to wear, it would be the belt top and leather pants with golden accessories.

4. Winner Will Likely Wear Beyond Closet

Winner members Seung Yoon and Mino walked the red carpet for Beyond Closet's 2015 S/S collection. I am certain that they will continue this fashion relationship with a high profile appearance. MAMA is the perfect event to really capitalize on star power.

I expect to see Winner in bad boy school boy clothes.

5. Natural Beauty Looks & Bold Lips

Although bold lips sound like a contradiction when coupled with an otherwise natural beauty look, the effect can be extremely mesmerizing. The beauty trends in magazines this year didn't follow dark smokey eyes and lips. Rather, it's all about soft eye shadow, minimal cat-eye, and bold red lips. The most popular lipstick has been Armani's Rouge Ecstasy, which has been worn by the likes of Lee Hyeri and Bae Doo Na. The red lips make the rest of your face look pale and milky white, which is the "it" beauty trend at the moment.
