Singer Kim Jin Pyo gives proof of Psy's popularity.

Kim Jin Pyo posted on his twitter, "I feel like I should get Psy's friend engraved on my business card. For my Germany trip, if I said I came from Korea, they talked about "Gangnam Style" and then I told them he was my friend. Then they treated me really well. Sorry, Jae Sang, I sold out."

Psy saw the tweet and said, "You can sell me out anytime, my customer." The two of them expressed their dear friendship over the social media website.

This kind of experience seems to clearly show that Psy and his song are seriously enjoying a global wave of popularity. 

Psy recently wrote history in the Guiness Book of World Records for the highest number of 'Likes' on YouTube, with his 250 million views. He also reached #11 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart and is looking to advance into the Top 10, a first for any Korean artist.
