Many are curious to see if Psy will be the first Korean artist to win a Grammy award.

Today, Psy's "Gangnam Style" ranked number 1 on the U.S. iTunes Single Chart 'Top Songs'. It has been ranked number 1 for 10 consecutive days starting on September 15.

Psy's popularity has also spread to Britain and ranked number 3 on the UK charts. He is also at number 11 on the U.S. Billboard Singel Chart 'HOT 100'.

He also set the record for the most liked video on Youtube with 224,000 likes.

Pop officials predict that he will move up to number 5 on the 'HOT 100' chart by this week. They say it is only a matter of time before he ranks number 1 on the chart.

They believe that if his popularity continues to the end of this year, he could very likely win the 55th annual Grammy awards for 'Best New Artist' during the ceremony which will be held next year in February.
