Thursday marks another new and exciting episode of "Pyscho-Pass 2" or "Psycho-Pass" season 2. Episode 9, entitled "Omnipotence Paradox" continues with the mystery of the Sibyl system. Synopsis:

This week's episode picks up right where it left off with Shimotsuki's discovery of Togane's secret connection with the Sibyl System. With some quick thinking, Shimotsuki praises the Sibyl system's work to achieve perfection and Togane spares her life. But now he also has control of her.

Inspector Tsunemori chats with professor Saiga about the Sibyl system. They reach an interesting paradox in which any being that believes it is omnipotent faces two options when it creates a flaw: prove its omnipotence or accept that it knows nothing.

The investigation into Kamui's whereabouts leads Inspector Tsunemori and team to the discovery of a famous government official in the Japanese ministry Kuwashima Koichi. He managed to escape the plane crash one week before his classmates and Kamui met their demise. They figure that Koichi is the connection that allowed Kamui to have access to major government and business officials.

Kamui and Koichi hold a dinner for Ministry members who are corrupt and have used unjust means to maintain their hues. Kamui ultimately destroys them by serving them body parts and then using their darkened hues to be destroyed by previously kidnapped Mizue Shisui. They set the place on fire and leave, save for Koichi. He awaits for the arrival of the MWPSB. He gives Tsunemori the cut off ear of her grandmother in attempt to cloud her hue. Togane watches in interest.

After the closing credits, Togane points his gun at Tsunemori's grandmother in a cliffhanger ending.
