Michelle Rodriguez's ex Cara Delivingne has previously expressed her intention to break into Hollywood, but what about the music industry? The British model of the year proved that she could sing through a duet with Pharrell Williams in a new Chanel ad.

The Chanel ad is directed by creative director Karl Lagerfeld and was produced in connection to the Paris/Salzburg 2014/15 Métiers d'art collection, which was held on December 2nd in Salzburg, Austria, said MailOnline.

"For her to start singing with Pharrell is not that bad, no?" Karl Lagerfeld said of Michelle Rodriguez's ex Cara Delevingne. The Chanel creative director sent Pharrell Williams some Viennese music as an inspiration for the song "CC The World."

"None of this would have been possible without Pharrell Williams, Cara Delevingne and Geraldine Chaplin," Chanel's Karl Lagerfeld added. "It's the perfect cast. Pharrell is a genius and Geraldine at her best in the role of Gabrielle Chanel in the year of her comeback."

For her part, supermodel Cara Delevingne recounted the day Pharell Williams called her to sing the soundtrack and she said that she was so happy, she screamed down the phone at the Grammy winner.

On the video titled "Reincarnation," said Glamour Magazine, the whole concept revolves around the history of the Chanel jacket.

"Karl Lagerfeld had imagined an episode from the life of Gabrielle Chanel. Embodied by Geraldine Chaplin, Gabrielle Chanel is holidaying in the suburbs of Salzburg in 1954," the magazine said. "At her hotel she meets a young lift-boy played by Pharrell Williams who wears a jacket which would later inspire the iconic Chanel jacket."

The grammy winner first appeared in the Chanel video as a bellboy and the model as hotel worker. Pharrell Williams is then shown portraying the emperor of Austria, Franz Joseph I, while Michelle Rodriguez's ex Cara Delevingne played Empress Elisabeth "Sisi" of Austria in a dream sequence.
