Freddie Prinze Jr. Gets Stitches Removed After Spine Surgery, Shares Happy Twitter Pic

Weeks after undergoing surgery on his spine, Freddie Prinze Jr. is "feelin' good."

The 38-year-old actor reportedly got stitches out of his neck this week. Prinze announced his happy news on Twitter on Wednesday, posting a photo of himself smiling after traveling to New York City.

"New York New York Big City of Dreams ... Landed. Stitches out. Saw the family. Feelin' good. Sending ya'll love," the "She's All That" actor captioned his selfie, which shows off a red mark left on his neck by the stitches.

According to E! News, Prinze was seen entering LAX airport to catch his flight to New York wearing the neck brace that he's been sporting since his spine surgery.

During the Thanksgiving weekend, Prinze tweeted about his road to recovery.

"Learnin to walk again is like learning jiu-jitsu - 1 technique at a time," wrote the star alongside a photo featuring his neck brace, which he has playfully referred to as "Robo-Neck" on Twitter.

Prinze, who is married to actress Michelle Gellar, with whom he shares 5-year-old daughter Charlotte and 2-year-old son Rocky, has been updating fans on his condition and recuperation via Twitter over the past few weeks.

He shared a photo from one of his physical therapy sessions with the caption, "Mental training. Visualize your technique. Then when youre healthy, you dont have to think anymore."

After fans feared that the actor might be unable to walk last month, he set the record straight, revealing that the surgery was to remove a disk from his spine that was reportedly causing other complications.

"@mrsmcgee65‪ i can walk fine. Just puttin back together one step at a time," said the actor.

Glad to hear Freddie's on the mend!‬
