Britain's Guardian Newspaper Criticizes "Gangnam Style"

Britain's Guardian newspaper criticized Psy's "Gangnam Style."

The Guardian stated, "What's so funny about Gangnam Style?" as they revealed their thoughts on this phenomenon.

The news have all stated that the 'Psy Syndrome' is due to his addictive song and dance. "Gangnam Style" was so popular that is was even featured on CNN. After his music video went viral, over 9,000 videos related to his song was posted online.

However, the Guardian emphasized that "Gangnam Style" does not have any new contents culture wise and that the lyrics are just repetitive and not unique. They also stated that although the lyrics are in Korean, it just sounds like a normal American song and the music video is similar to other videos.

They went on to say that his music video justifies the 'prejudice people have towards fat asian men'.

However, "Gangnam Style" ranked number 1 on the UK iTunes chart, making these criticisms seem a bit off as it clearly is a popular song in Britain.

Internet users commented, "This newspaper is just ridiculous" and They're just making a parody themselves."
