The relationship between Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran took a dramatic turn this weekend when Brown announced to the world that he was single during a concert.

The 25-year-old "Loyal" singer had some harsh words for his ex-girlfriend, who responded to Brown's announcement on Twitter, writing, "N---as be in they feelings when you break up with them lol." Now Brown has taken to the social media site to apologize to Tran.

"Being young and dumb is one of my strong suits and emotional at best," wrote Brown on Instagram. "I love hard and react impulsively when I'm hurt at times. I don't think social media is a place to air out or hash out personal problems and a n---a feel hella WACK for doing it."

"So I AM APOLOGIZING I live in a glass house and the same s--t that makes me great also is my curse," added the music star. "Everybody know I love that girl. I don't care how my image look to the public because I'm still gonna be the best at what I do. I just want baby girl to know I apologize!"

Meanwhile, Karrueche's Instagram account has been deactivated. The 26-year-old model wrote on Twitter however, that she did not take her Instagram account down. Instead, she explained that her page was disabled because someone had reported her as an impersonator.

Over the weekend, Brown had posted a message on Instagram that accused his ex of cheating on him with Drake. Brown has since removed the post from his page but several screenshots of it have appeared online.

"We've got scars, some of them u gave me, some of them I've caused," wrote Brown, according to MTV News. "That ride or die act we have been fooling the world with obviously ain't working. I was locked up for damn near 4 months and only got 1 visit from you while u was hosting parties and taking secret trips to Toronto, going on dates with Drake!"

Brown is rumored to have had major beef with Drake in the past due to the Canadian rapper's alleged romance with Brown's ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

"When this relationship first started u knew what it was and even participated in threesomes," added the "Don't Wake Me Up" singer. "I slowed all that s--t down. So let's not try to save face for public opinion because I don't need to play victim so people can take my side. I made it clear to the world who my girl was and made your life equal to mine even at the cost of me not focusing on my career at times. So miss me wit the bulls--t. Now yall know the real."
