Miss A's Jia Confirms Early 2015 Comeback Following EXO And WINNER

With 2014 coming to a close, Korea's top record labels have begun announcing 2015 comebacks for some of K-pop's biggest acts, this time with JYP Entertainment's miss A.

On Saturday, a video of surfaced online showing miss A at a Q&A session in Beijing, where a reporter asked about a release date for the group's next album.

"It is estimated to be February of next year, so please look forward to it," said miss A's Jia in Mandarin Chinese.

Since the group's debut in 2010, 2014 has been the only year miss A did not have an official comeback. Last year, the group released the full-length album "Hush," generating four singles including the title track, "Come On Over," "Hide & Sick" and "Love is U."

Similar to JYP Entertainment, SM and YG Entertainment are teasing their respective 2015 comebacks.

On Wednesday, SM Entertainment revealed a video teaser indicating an impending comeback for EXO. When YG Entertainment released their own teaser image for WINNER two days later, observers immediately launched comparisons between the two.

According their respective teasers, both groups are planning comebacks in early 2015, which could build up a rivalry between them similar to Girls' Generation and 2NE1.

Yesterday, WINNER followed up with their first teaser with a new image showing a conference table with the caption "WWIC 2015" and Kang Sung Yoon's name on the head faceplate. Fans are already theorizing on the concept behind the group's impending comeback.

"YG always likes to get influence from places outside the music industry," commented Qurios on allkpop. "WINNER S/S was a fashion concept."

"WWIC is similar to a business concept. Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) from apple was used to showcase their new technologies. You can see the similarities in wording, it's done intentionally. So it's most likely a concert, but considering that it's a 'showcase' for something new, there is a glimmer of hope that they will tease us for a comeback for sure."
