Affordable Fashion: IU Rocks Floral Cut-Out Dress From H&M
With Kang Sora receiving praise for rocking a $30 USD H&M lace dress, IU is also getting a lot of attention for also having worn a dress from the same brand at the 2014 Melon Music Awards.
At the "2014 Melon Music Awards" red carpet, IU had heads turning her way as she strutted down in this beautiful floral cut-out dress from H&M which retails at $24.95 USD as seen on H&M's official website. The elegant piece features a floral print and with a little alteration, IU's version of the dress boasts side slit to add a touch of sexy to her look. The dress perfectly accentuates IU's petite frame and showcases the singer's maturing and blooming look.
Representatives of H&M spoke with media outlet DongA and revealed that they are currently holding sponsorship programs, and among the artists they've worked with and put their attention to are Kang So Ra, IU, and Lee Hyori. "Celebrities right now are looking for (clothing brand) sponsors that match their style and preferences, instead of looking at the prices of the product."
Both IU and Kang So Ra were lauded for their practical yet elegant styling choices, and now fans are getting excited to be able to wear the same dresses as their favorite stars.
According to H&M, the dresses Kang So Ra and IU wore immediately got sold out in days after the news about the stars wearing them came out. Even other H&M products are slowly getting sold out as well.
