On December 8, former Girls' Generation member Jessica Jung was given the award for "Most Searched Korean Female Artist" at the Yahoo Asia Buzz Awards.

Jessica attended the award ceremony held in Hong Kong and wore a memorable black sequin dress with a bejeweled silver collar for the occasion.

American by birth, she spoke in fluent English with one of the show's presenters and the audience members. During her acceptance speech Jessica addressed her fans, saying, "Thank you guys so much. I'm very honored and I'm very humbled to be able to receive this award in front of so many talented artists. I wouldn't have been able to do this without you guys so I thank all my fans."

When asked by one of the hosts whether she would consider recording a Mandarin song, Jessica said that she wouldn't rule the possibility out. She discussed her fashion brand, Blanc & Eclare, stating it was a dream come true. When the topic switched to Hong Kong men, Jessica laughed and said that they were all very fashionable. She also asserted that she had a wonderful creative team that supported her, so that she could be a singer and designer at the same time.

Since her dismissal from Girls' Generation, Jessica has been very busy designing and promoting for her Blanc & Eclare fashion line. She recently launched a limited- edition scarf collection.
