The iPhone 6 Plus bendgate video lands as YouTube's most viewed in 2014.

The man behind the iPhone 6 Plus bendgate video Lewis Hilsenteger posted the video in September which hit nearly 60 million views.

According to the report of CBC the video is one of YouTube's most viewed. It ranked no. 4 in Canada among the non-music videos and no. 5 globally.

Furthermore, Hilsenteger confirms in the report of CBC that the video was posted after the issue of the iPhone 6 Plus bendgate.

"There are certain videos like drop tests and stuff that everyone expects but bend tests - they probably will be a thing now - prior to my video I don't think there was anything quite like it," Hilsenteger says in CBC.

"There was a point it was accumulating like 20 million views in a day, it was reaching far and wide. I think my video helped to accelerate the process of people finding out about (bendgate)," he added.

Moreover, with the iPhone 6 Plus bendgate hysteria, the Apple company released a statement a couple of months ago explaining that the issue is a "rare" case.

"iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus meet or exceed all of our high quality standards to endure everyday real life use," Apple said in the report of Design & Trend. "With normal use a bend in iPhone is extremely rare through our first six days of sale, a total of nine customers have contacted Apple with a bent iPhone 6 Plus."
