The Korean musical Robin Hood has released the character teaser images for Super Junior's Kyuhyun and Beast's Yoseob.
Both idols and musical actor Yoo Joonsang will take turns playing the lead role of Robin Hood in the highly-anticipated production. Robin Hood is about a fictional thief and heroic outlaw who steals from the rich and spreads the wealth with the poor.
In the teaser images, Kyuhyun and Yoseob pose in a forest while wearing black, fur-trimmed attire and brandishing sharp swords. The dark and washed-out color scheme gives the photos an ominous aura, as if this will be a dark take on the classic tale.
Robin Hood will be Kyuhyun's fifth musical project. He debuted on stage in the 2012 production of Catch Me If You Can. Since then, he has had lead roles in Singin' in the Rain, The Moon That Embraces The Sun, and The Days.
Yoseob is also a veteran of the musical stage. He's participated in Gwanghwamun Sonata, Joseph The Amazing, Full House, and Zorro.
Both idols are known for their "ticket power" or ability to sell out every single show.
Robin Hood will begin its performances in January 2015 at the D-Cube Arts Center in Guro, Seoul.
Yoseob and his band mates are currently on their 2014 Beautiful Show Japan arena tour concert. Kyuhyun recently held a surprise live concert in Jamsil to promote his At Gwanghwamun solo album.
