Al Pacino Teases Possible Role In Upcoming 'Guardians Of The Galaxy' Film: 'Scarface' Actor Meets With Marvel Studios; Says 'It's A Marvel How Things Happen' [PHOTO]

It looks like Al Pacino might just have a role in the upcoming "Guardians of the Galaxy" film. According to TIME Magazine, Pacino has confirmed that he's met with Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige.

The Guardian reports that Pacino said he has met with the Disney-owned studio, but has not expanded any further on the topic. Pacino stated, "I've met with the Marvel guy...It's a Marvel how things happen." He continued, "I would imagine that either there's something he feels is right for me ..." only to be interrupted by a phone call, which he joked came from Marvel telling him to hold his tongue.

In a past "Happy Sad Confused" podcast, Pacino stated that he really enjoyed the first "Guardians of the Galaxy" film, stating, "It was just inventive, funny, strong, the production of it, the ingenuity of it... Why wouldn't I like a movie like that, appreciate a movie like that? I'm not necessarily going to be in it, but there's value to it."

Though Pacino didn't say much else, it's quite possible that Marvel has a slot for him in one of their upcoming works. According to TIME Magazine, Marvel recently announced its upcoming slate of movies through 2019, which include two previously unannounced "Avengers" sequels as well as its first solo female superhero movie and its first solo black superhero movie. As for the second "Guardians of the Galaxy" movie, it is expected to arrive on May 5 in 2017, after previously being scheduled for a July 2017 release.
