Lee Kyu Chang, The Man Who Helped Psy to Fame in the U.S.

The middle man who helped Psy's "Gangnam Style" to fame is Lee Kyu Chang. He is known as 'KYU' in the U.S. and Korean entertainment world.

There isn't anyone that does not know of 'KYU' in Hollywood. Korean actors and celebrities also know 'KYU' as he is the one that mostly helps in bringing celebrities overseas to the U.S. market.

Kyu has also recently helped Psy with signing his contract with Scooter Braun.

Kyu first met Scooter Braun when the international group, Blush opened for Justin Bieber's opening stage in Hong Kong. Later, Psy and Braun were able to come together and sign a contract with Kyu's help.

This past August, Kyu received a call from Scooter Braun, saying that he say the "Gangnam Style" music video and would like to meet with him. Kyu did not know Psy personally so asked singer Yoon Do Hyun to ask Psy for him.

Kyu and Braun met up a day before Psy first came to L.A. to meet with Braun. Kyu had said that Psy would be the "first Korean artist to succeed in the U.S."

Kyu calls himself a freelancer and a 'contents producer'.

Kyu commented, "I love my jobs. They are all different but they are all connected somehow. I feel synergy when I am working. I plan to continue working in these fields."

Kyu is currently working on a dance movie and plan on using korean actors in it as well.

Psy has recently become a global sensation with his song, "Gangnam Style." He has ranked number 1 on iTunes in 30 countries and has ranked number 2 on the U.S. Billboard Main Single Chart 'HOT 100'. 

He has appeared on many shows such as the "Ellen Show" and "SNL" and featured on news programs such as NBC and CNN.

His music video has been the most viewed on Youtube as well with over 300 million views.

He has also recently signed a contract with Justin Bieber's agency and plans to release his first U.S. single sometime in November.
