2NE1's CL Criticized Once Again After 'America's Next Top Model' Appearance [VIDEO]

While fans were excited to see 2NE1 grace "America's Next Top Model," some were critical of one member in particular after seeing their cameo.

Last Friday, the four ladies of 2NE1 made an appearance on the season finale of "America's Next Top Model," during which they spoke to the competing models and also performed their hit single "Crush." After the episode aired, viewers commented on what appeared to be a focus on Lee "CL" Chaerin over Sandara Park, Gong Minji and Park Bom.

"CL is the star here," commented AnalogGuy on YouTube, "The rest of the girls are just backup and unimportant."

This is not the first time observers have criticized CL of overshadowing the other 2NE1 members. Back in June, CL was accused of the same preferential treatment after the release of the music video for "Crush."

"I'm a huge fan of 2NE1, but it seems like CL featuring 2NE1," commented catsandcandies on YouTube. "By the way, CL is my bias in the group, but things like that make me sad about the other members."

"That's just based on how the song was written," wrote Lillium Goulding on June 25. "But I agree that there's an imbalance in this video. I love CL though."

Others, however, believe it was simply the editing of the "America's Next Top Model" episode that led to this perception.

"If you watch the fancams each member goes to the front for their turn, but here they only aired CL's parts," added jtv612x. "She's not doing it intentionally."

Last month, it was announced that CL would be making a solo debut in the US early next year.

While updating her personal Instagram account, CL updated photos with Diplo as well as Skrillex in the recording audio, possibly hinting at collaborations with the pair for an upcoming track. The trio had previously worked together on the track "Dirty Vibe" off of Skrillex's latest album, "Recess."
