Saturday marks an all new episode of "Sword Art Online II" or "Sword Art Online" season two. Episode 23 entitled, "The Dream Begins," was simulcast for fans outside of Japan courtesy of Aniplex USA. Synopsis:

This week's episode begins with Kazuto (Kirito) experimenting with a camera and virtual fixture for Asuna to wear. The fixture allows Yuuki to travel to school with Asuna. The teachers at Asuna's high school as well as the students welcome Yuuki. After an eventful day at school, Yuuki asks Asuna to take her to a specific white house - the house that Yuuki grew up in before becoming sick.

Asuna and Yuuki discuss relationships, in which Yuuki warns that maybe Kirito is a bit more plugged into the virtual world than the real world. They also talk about mothers, in which Asuna asks how she is so strong. Yuuki encourages Asuna to talk to her mother the same way that she talked to Yuuki when she had tried to run away. They share a virtual hug.

Asuna arrives at home and knocks on her mother's office door. Her mom tells her to fill out the transfer application. Asuna asks to have the discussion in the virtual world, as she feels it is the only place she can truly express herself. Her mom agrees, but only after insisting that she will not change her mind about Asuna transferring.

In the virtual world, rather the cabin that she purchased with Kirito, Asuna tells her Mom about how proud her Grandfather was of her Mom. Asuna also reveals that she now understands how her Grandpa felt about her Mom, particularly how he was able to be happy because she was successful. Asuna says she wants to live her life for the joy and happiness of others. She declares that she doesn't want to transfer.

Her mother starts crying and Asuna hugs her.  The next morning at breakfast, her Mom tells her that she can stay at her high school as long as her grades are better by third semester.
