Sohae Univeristy formally announced on December 11 that 2AM member Changmin will be a professor for the Applied Music Education Department and he will officially begin his course in the upcoming 2015 school term. 

The 28-year-old pop vocalist is not only a talented singer, but also has a lot of industry experience as a vocal coach and a professional musician, making him an ideal candidate for the position.

"We highly regard Changmin's experience as a vocal trainer berfore making his debut as an idol star," said a staff member from Sohae University's music department. "He has expereince as both a vocal trainer and a singer."

"Many take years of trainee practice to even debut as a singer, but Changmin made his debut in just a few months." Changmin's expertise and continued success in the Korean music industry, according to the university, reflects his power to teach others to become powerful vocalists like him.

Lee Changmin began his singing career in 2008 through the debut of JYP's ballad boy group 2AM. He also expanded his work by creating a duo unit HOMME with 8eight's Lee Hyun and they were both featured on SBS drama "The Heirs" OST for their song, "Moment." He further utilized his singing talents and debuted as a musical actor in the musicals, "La Cage Aux Folles," "The Three Musketeers," "Jack The Ripper," and many more. 

Until he begins his new career as a Professor he will be performing with Lee Hyun for the first HOMME concert on December 23rd and 24th using both their smooth melodic vocals to sway everyone during the holiday season at Seoul's Sejong University.
