Mashable Calls CNBLUE’s ‘Can’t Stop’ The 17th Most Tweeted Song Of 2014

FNC Entertainment band CNBLUE’s song, “Can’t Stop” has been called the 17th most tweeted song of 2014, according to the news website Mashable.

Earlier this week, the site posted their 50 Most Tweeted Songs of 2014 and included the title song from CNBLUE’s fifth EP “Can’t Stop.”

CNBLUE were the highest ranked Korean artist on a list which included John Legend, Ariana Grande, Beyonce and One Direction.

This may not come as a surprise to anyone who remembers the release of "Can't Stop"

CNBLUE first released the “Can’t Stop” album back in February. On the day of its release, the song ranked number one on iTunes charts in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macao, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. This album also topped the Japan Tower Records pre-order chart as well. They also topped the Gaon Social chart and Gaon Music Chart for three weeks in a row.

The band appears to be on a roll where the accolades are concerned.

Billboard recently chose “Can’t Stop” as one of the best K-pop albums of 2014, describing it as a song that had people who were not familiar with K-Pop nodding along to the song. And CNBLUE won the Best Band Performance Award in the rock category at the 2014 Mnet Asian Music Awards as well as the Asia Best Group award at the China iQiyi Night.
