SBS "Awards Festival" returned after 8 years.

On December 17, one representative of SBS revealed that "Awards Festival" will resume again this year but there will be no grand prize.

"Awards Festival" was stopped in 2006 and is being produced again this year following eight consecutive years of not doing so. A representative stated, "'Awards Festival' wasn't planned to be an awards ceremony and there are so many standards of giving awards to singers so it's difficult to choose one winner from so many. So we'll be awarding in terms of different categories but there will be no one grand prize winner."

But "Awards Festival" is already catching much attention with the impressive line-up.

The event will be held on December 21.
