U-KISS Rank 2nd On Japan’s Oricon Daily Chart With Their 10th Single ’Sweetie’

Idol group U-KISS has released their 10th single and has ranked number 2 on Japan’s Oricon Daily Chart.

On December 17, U-KISS released their single, Sweetie, in Japan and ranked second on the Oricon chart, showing their hallyu star status.

On the first day of the album release, they ranked second on the chart, making them high up on the chart with other K-Pop artists. Super Junior was ranked first on the Daily Single Chart while TVXQ ranked first on the Daily Album Chart, making all the high ranking artists on the Oricon chart all K-Pop idol groups.

Their new single’s title song, “Sweetie,” is a soft medium tempo ballad song that would make anyone feel warm on a cold winter day.

Before the actual release of the album, they released the music video on their official Japan YouTube page and received a numerous number of pre-orders for their album, making them rank number 2 on the daily chart.

The “Sweetie” music video revealed each of the members waiting happily for a date with their girlfriends. This concept is totally different from their previous title song that revealed a more strong and sexy image.

On the other hand, the group will begin activities for their new single in Japan. They will complete activities in Japan on December 24 and return to Korea to begin preparing for their Korean album release this coming January.
