'SMTOWN Live in TOKYO 3D' in Japan is a Success with 6,800 Fans!

SM Entertainment's 3D movie, 'SMTOWN Live in Tokyo 3D' had 6,800 fans show up on opening day.

AVEX stated that 'SMTOWN Live in Tokyo 3D', which released on October 6, had a total of 6,883 people show up, making it second for the most watched K-Pop movie. Number 1 is SM's documentary film, 'I AM'.

Also, there are around 25,000 reservations made for this movie as well. They predict that there will more people that will reserve in the future as well. This is twice as much than any other K-Pop related movie ever released.

This movie features many artists from SM such as BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, f(x), Girls' Generation and others. 

This 3D movie has shown that there are many ways to promote K-Pop around the world, besides albums and TV appearances.

'SMTOWN Live in Tokyo 3D' will release in Korea on October 11.
