By Staff Writer | October 09, 2012 04:09 PM EDT

'World star' Psy has been at number 2 on the U.S. Billboards for two weeks now.

The U.S. Billboard website currently has 5 other hit songs of Psy's as recommendations on their main page. His popularity does not seem to be dying down as his views on YouTube soar and shirts with his face are being sold online.

His five hit songs including songs such as "Right Now", "Bird" and "Champion" are featured on the main page of the U.S. Billboards.

It seems that the Billboard are helping him to make his way to the top.

Although Maroon 5 has beat Psy in the radio requests, Psy is in the lead on iTunes and online sales.

He doesn't seem to have much airplay than other songs, but he is slowly gaining more.

With the keyword 'Gangnam Style', over 1,273 items are found on ebay, showing his popularity.

Washington Post has also stated that "Gangnam Style" is the chance and the opportunity for K-Pop and Korea to become known worldwide.

Psy has recently become a global sensation with his song, "Gangnam Style." He has ranked number 1 on iTunes in 30 countries and has ranked number 2 on the U.S. Billboard Main Single Chart 'HOT 100'.

He has also reached 400 million views on Youtube with his music video for "Gangnam Style."

He has appeared on many shows such as the "Ellen Show" and "SNL" and featured on news programs such as NBC and CNN.

He has also recently signed a contract with Justin Bieber's agency and plans to release his first U.S. single sometime in November.
