Psy reaching the top of the Billboards is basically confirmed.

the U.S. Billboard seemed to predict and foreshadow that Psy will be number 1 this week.

U.S. Billboard stated that although Psy was a bit behind Maroon 5 in radio hits, he as still ahead in the album sales.

However, this week, "Gangnam Style" seemed to have almost 26,000 download hits while Maroon 5 only had around 17,000 hits, showing that Psy has more of a possibility to rank number 1 this week.

If Psy does reach number 1 on the U.S. Billboard this week, he will be Korea's first artist to hit number 1. 

Psy has recently become a global sensation with his song, "Gangnam Style." He has ranked number 1 on iTunes in 30 countries and has ranked number 2 on the U.S. Billboard Main Single Chart 'HOT 100'.

He has also reached 400 million views on Youtube with his music video for "Gangnam Style."

He has appeared on many shows such as the "Ellen Show" and "SNL" and featured on news programs such as NBC and CNN.

He has also recently signed a contract with Justin Bieber's agency and plans to release his first U.S. single sometime in November.
