INFINITE member L revealed that Woollim Entertainment had told him to stay quiet for the sake of his image.

L, real name Kim Myungsoo, revealed on December 23 that he had been told by his entertainment agency not to talk much during INFINITE interviews for the sake of his concept as the mysterious, visual member. However, as a member of subgroup INFINITE F, L has been less restricted during interviews.

The three members of INFINITE F appeared on Sunny’s FM Date to promote their new song "Heartbeat", hosted by Girls’ Generation’s Sunny. During the show with the three INFINITE F members, Sungjong, Sungyeol, and L, Mwave reports that the three discussed L’s concept as the mysterious member of INFINITE.

“When we’re promoting as Infinite, L says almost nothing. The company gave him the concept of not talking,” said the members, “But now he talks too much. He’s as light as a feather,” bringing out laughter.

L said, “People think that I don’t talk and am not good at talking but that’s not true. I was oppressed until now. I’m revealing this for the first time here but I’m really good at talking.”

INFINITE fans have seen L’s mysterious image slip on several of INFINITE’s variety show appearances, but the idol has typically followed his mysterious and silent image that Woollim Entertainment requested of him.

L is a popular idol-actor who has appeared in the dramas My Lovely Girl, Shut Up Flower Boy Band, Master’s Sun, Cunning Single Lady, and several other dramas.
