Girl’s Day Receives Overwhelming Love At KStar Fanfest Concert During First Performance In Singapore

Girl's Day successfully wrapped up its first concert at the KStar Fanfest concert in Singapore.

Held at Marina Bay Sands on November 21, the four-member girl group, consists of Sojin, Yura, Minah and Hyeri, headlined the first day's concert of the two-day Singapore's biggest K-Pop fan celebration. They kicked off the night with their popular hits "Expectation", "Female President" and "Something" that brought out enthusiastic cheers from the audience.

"Singapore is fantastic and beautiful", Hyeri exclaimed in response to the emcee's question if there is any place the girls want to visit or do in Singapore. Yura expressed her wish to visit the swimming pool on top of Marina Bay Sands and she's glad that she was here right now. Minah got the fans excited when she said she wanted to go to the swimming pool right after the event.

Although it was their first time to visit Singapore, they felt Singaporean fans were very cheerful, welcoming and warming. They hope the fans will enjoy the rest of the show and they hope to have another opportunity to come.

On what they usually do in their spare time, Minah revealed if she has a lot of leisure time, she would really want to visit Singapore and travel the world. Yura shared, "Normally I spend my leisure time by watching dramas and movies and we really want to stay at home and rest."

Three lucky fans were given the opportunity to ask the group a question each. The first fan posed them the question in Korean which Minah expressed her appreciation and said he was cute. He asked the group how they maintain such good relationship and if they ever fight. To which, Hyeri unveiled, "Since we have been staying together with each other for 4 years, we feel we are like a family already."

"Jonghyun" name (who was Yura's "husband" on the variety show "We Got Married") was chanted throughout the venue immediately when the second fan asked for the group's ideal man. The girls became shy and looked at Yura. The blushful Yura responded, "I like a man who suits me best. Very gentle. And a man who really and truly loves me."

The last question from the third fan was "If you have a boyfriend, where would you like to go and what would you like to do with your boyfriend?" Immediately, the emcee Dee Kosh shouted "Come to Singapore!" to which Minah agreed by saying "Singapore Universal Studios!" and "Transformers Yeah" and she started to mimic the "transformer ride" adorably.

Yura expressed her appreciation when asked if they have something to say to the Singapore fans, "Thanks for greeting us with a big love when it's our first time to come Singapore.  And we come next time to Singapore again, we hope a big welcome as well." Yura and Minah gave a big heart to the audience once again to show their appreciation and Hyeri added, "Hi Singapore! I love you" in English, which heated up the atmosphere further.

One of the memorable moments that evening was during the "Don't Forget Me" performance. Singapore Daisies (name of Girl's Day fan) prepared a surprise event. They lifted up a A4 size page saying "우리도 보고싶었어" which meant they also missed the girls. Seeing the messages from the fans, delighted Hyeri returned with a heart sign.

The very fun moment came during the Speed Charade game where the girls interacted with their fans and revealed their playful and witty sides. The girls shed their usual sweet and sexy outlook and act out various animals like turtle, lion, eagle, koala and sports like baseball, weightlifting, marathon and boxing which made many smiled and laughed at it.

The night came to a high but it was time to say goodbye. Girl's Day presented a total of 10 songs including "Darling", "Tell Me", "I Miss You" and ended that evening with "Hug Me Once". The emcees prompted the audience for an encore. Girl's Day came on the stage hearing the loud encore and ended the night with "Twinkle Twinkle".

It was a memorable evening filled with love and fun for both Girl's Day and Daisies. The fan meeting ended with a high touch session with Girl's Day.
