Sonamoo Debut Teasers Reveal They're The Female Counterpart To B.A.P

TS Entertainment's highly anticipated girl group Sonamoo will debut with a concept similar to that of B.A.P.

Sonamoo, an upcoming girl group from the same company that debuted popular Korean acts Secret and B.A.P, will debut at the end of 2014. TS Entertainment revealed that the girl group will be debuting with "Deja Vu," a tough and aggressive concept that is similar to that of B.A.P's debut song "Warrior."

The teaser images and video for Sonamoo's "Deja Vu" was shared on September 26, and show the seven members of Sonamoo wearing outfits and standing in a pose that are reminiscent of B.A.P's promotions for "Warrior."

The outfits are primarily black and brown and show the Sonamoo girls posing in a warehouse, which was featured prominently in several B.A.P album concepts and music videos. In "Warrior," the B.A.P members also wore a variety of black and brown outfits. The teaser video shows Sonamoo dancing in the same outfits, along with a variety of white outfits and performing intense choreography.

Sonamoo is also using a stylized deer head as the group's icon logo, akin to B.A.P's bunny logo.

TS Entertainment debuted B.A.P in 2012, and the group's powerful concept for "Warrior" led to much success. B.A.P filed a lawsuit against TS Entertainment in 2014.

Sonamoo is TS Entertainment's first group to debut since B.A.P's 2012 entrance to the K-pop scene. This will be TS Entertainment's second girl group to debut, following Secret's debut in 2009.

Sonamoo's first mini album "Deja Vu" will be released on December 29, along with the music video for the title song.
