‘I Can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying' Season 2 Confirmed For April 2015 Release

While it is not an anime genre that dominates the airwaves or exports, romantic comedies still have a substantial fanbase.

Enough to warrant yet another one to get a second season. And this one doesn't even have any gimmicky fantasy or sci-fi elements.

During its final episode of the first season it was announced that "I Can't Understand What My Husband is Saying" will be returning next year for a follow up season. The anime series, which follows "the best wife" who often comes into conflict with her Otaku husband, will stream its second season beginning in April 2015.

Fans are very pleased with the announcement that the exploration of how to interact with Otaku culture will be returning next year.

"Announced right after the last episode airs. Love it," commented Link1880 on Crunchyroll.

"Spring 2015 is shaping up to be an amazing one. Cannot wait!!!" exclaimed KillerZEK87.

"I don't think this should surprise anyone who watched it. I am wondering if they can manage longer episodes though," explained GotenLoooovesCorn.

According to Anime News Network, "I Can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying" is directed by Shinpei Nagai, who also wrote the first season. The Studio responsible for animation is Studio Seven, and Dream Creation also produced the project. Character design was handled by Ryuichi Baba. Yukari Tamura and Kenichi Suzumura are the main voice actors and star as Kaoru and Hajime, respectively.

Crunchyroll summarizes the series as follows:

"Kaoru is an OL you can find anywhere, serious and works diligently, but her husband is a super otaku and more-or-less a NEET. She is caught up in one of her husband's whims one day or the subject of his concerns another, but the two are so close that it's embarrassing to even watch them!"

Fans can watch the first season of "I Can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying" on Crunchyroll.
