Anime is full of plenty of quirky girls dragging around unsuspecting normal guys. It's the Hollywood cinema equivalent of the "manic pixie dream girl" trope with one main difference.

In the case of the "Haruhi Suzumiya," she's got a valid reason for being so quirky: supernatural phenomena exists.

While "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" is over, a new anime spin-off entitled "The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-Chan" is set to premiere next year. There's no official release date yet but the production staff is keeping up plenty of excitement by continuing to reveal new information about the upcoming series. The latest revealed information is the full list of staff including music composer Tatsuya Katou.

Earlier this month, Anime News Network released a full cast list for "The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-Chan" and fans were for the most part intrigued and pleased with the announcement.

"Satellite huh? I got mixed feelings on that but the cast looks decent. I hope this airs at least Spring next year," commented Stark700 in an ANN forum.

"I'm so glad to hear the cast are reprising their roles! I was kinda sad about the character design change, but finding out that Ikuko Ito is doing them makes me feel better since I'm a fan of Maho Tsukai Tai," said Animexcel.

"It's been a fun ride to see this other version of Yuki getting centre stage. I really like the main cast of Yuki, Kyon and Ryoko," explained Ali07.

Anime News Network is also behind the announcement of the full staff which includes up and coming anime music composer Tatsuya Katou. His previous works include "Medaka Box," "Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya," and "Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere."

Fans of "The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-Chan" can check out the list of full staff on the anime series below. The "Haruhi Suzumiya" spin-off is set to debut sometime next year.
