CL of 2NE1 on UK BBC's "NEWSDAY"

Girl group 2NE1 gained the interest from the UK’s BBC.

On December 16th, 2NE1’s CL made an appearance on UK’s BBC World Main News Program “NEWSDAY” and talked about her thoughts about the KPOP fever.

Recently, 2NE1 who was picked the Best New Band and performed at MTV commented about the experience by saying“MTV is a world renowned place for very famous musicians it was a honor that we could perform there at MTV”

CL humble responded to the comment it has only been 2 years since the debut of 2NE1 but they are known worldwide “I don’t think we have succeed yet, but I think this is a good start and we have a far way to go. We still have a lot of things that we want to do”

She also commented about why there is such a KPOP fever spreading worldwide CL said, “I think there is no language associated with music, so that is why everyone is beginning to listen to it. By listening to our music they are able to experience our culture”, She also mentioned “We hear that 2NE1’s song lyrics speak for the women and it feels good to be representing the Asian women population”.

Also, the fact that during the interview that lasted for about 3 minutes and CL expressed her thoughts in perfect English has gained a lot of attention.

Meanwhile, 2NE1 performed on December 12th in  MTV IGGY’s Best New Band In the World Concert which took place New York Time Square Best Buy Theater.
