Wonder Girls member Sun was seen at the George Washington University Jack Morton Auditorium on Tuesday night as a guest speaker to talk about the 'Hallyu wave.'

Last night, Sun shared her thought about the two types of dangers that K-pop culture had. First she stated, "There are two types of dangers or risks that come from K-pop culture. The first is that so many people debut or audition at a very young age. For me, I auditioned when I was 12 years old and debuted 6 years later. Because of this, I was very easily disappointed. This type of job can easily be judged by appearances as well. The songs that I was singing on stage were songs that I didn't even understand the lyrics to."

Her second danger was, "Idols have surpassed having people just like them as a fan. People are starting to worship them. Many fans tell me that I am their role model and their mentor. Not just in Korea, but all over the world many people have told me that they were influenced by me. Now I feel that this job is not just about the fame or the honor, but more of a responsibility."

Other guest speakers also spoke about their thoughts on the hallyu at the forum.
