EXO fans around the world were in for a treat after checking Instagram recently.

After a long hiatus on Instagram, former EXO member, Luhan, shared an update on the social media platform wishing a Happy New Year to all of his fans and supporters.

It had been a whole 13 weeks since Luhan's previous Instagram update and fans were beginning to grow anxious for a post. The current post pictures Luhan showing his never-ending handsomeness in a strong pose. The picture has also been deemed quite mysterious due to the mystic shadows and darker tone of the image. Along with the photo was the caption "Long Time No See! Happy New Year!^^".

Fans couldn't contain their excitement over the recent post leaving comments such as "LuHan!! Forever is the best!!!!", "I miss you so much love u", "Happy New Year, lovely! Welcome back. I hope you're feeling okay!^^ We love you. Rest well!" as well as many more encouraging comments.

The update has so far garnered over 450,000 likes and well over 12,000 comments.

Since his submission to the Seoul District Court to nullify his contract with SM Entertainment, Luhan has rarely been posting on his personal social media sites. Luhan is scheduled to attend his next court mediation with SM Entertainment on January 16^th; but that doesn't mean Luhan has been inactive. Luhan, in the meantime, has been promoting his new movie 'Back to 20', the Chinese remake of the popular movie, 'Miss Granny'. For the soundtrack of "Back to 20", Luhan lent his voice for the track, "Our Tomorrow".

Aside from promotions for 'Back to 20', the talented Luhan has also pulled in some awards for himself during the latter months of 2014. The star the award for "Most Valuable Male Star" at the 2014 Baidu Moments Conference as well as the "Asia Popular Idol Award" for the 2014 iQiyi Night.
