Just a few days before the premiere of the latest episode of "Fairy Tail," several new announcements were made about future episodes.

The announcements in question, which originate in Kodansha's Shonen Magazine, reveal that episodes 219, 220, and 222 will all be based on special chapters in the "Fairy Tail" manga. Additionally, it was also revealed that episode 221 will have an original story arc that focuses on popular characters Natsu, Lucy, and Happy.

"Fairy Tail" creator Hiro Mashima once stated in an interview with Barcelona (via Yahoo! Answers) that he feels comfortable focusing on magical stories because, "magic is what allows you, on one side, to dream while on the other side, gives you a big amount of freedom. In the end, it is a fantasy world, but the feelings of the characters have a special importance."

Whether it is the fantasy world, the feelings of the characters, or both, it would seem that Mashima's work is appreciated by audiences as "Fairy Tail" was recently revealed to be one of the top 20 best selling manga in Japan during 2014.

Those reading the "Fairy Tail" manga will get a new story aside from the special chapters that are sometimes released in magazines. According to Anime News Network, "The White Silver Labyrinth," the official title of episode 221, will feature a new story that follows Natsu, Lucy and Happy "on a strange request" through a snowy mountain.
