Boy group Teen Top member Niel will be making a comeback as a solo artist this February.

This month alone, SHINEE’s Jonghyun and CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa will be making solo debuts, making the beginning of 2015 a battle between solo debuts, according to reports.

On Tuesday, media reported that Niel was making the finishing touches to his solo duet that will release in February.

They plan on showing a side of Niel that he has not shown yet. He will be showing off his vocals along with a performance for a more complete show.

Osen voiced that they had seen his solo debut coming due to his charismatic image and talented live vocals. His skill as an artist was acknowledged when he appeared on the KBS show, “Immortal Song.”

Reports also reveal that his voice was already recognized since last year through Teen Top’s song, “Missing.”

Last year, Teen Top completed their overseas tour. This year they plan to focus on individual activities in drama, musicals and entertainment. They plan to make a comeback as a group during the latter half of 2015.
