NAME: Ghofrane Tabet

AGE: 18

CURRENTLY: a student at Djillali Bounaama High School

INTRO TO K-POP: "I watched a channel called KOREA TV," Tabet said. "They showed K-pop, K-drama and variety shows on a daily basis. I really liked it. My earliest K-pop memory is getting addicted to watching 2PM on the program 'Idol Show.' I remember never missing a single episode. They're hilarious. They're truly variety kings."

FAN CREDENTIALS: "I am also an admin for the Facebook page of Algerian EXO fans," Tabet said. "I have never been to a concert or a fan event. I wish K-pop artists would notice us for once and hold at least one concert here. It would be a dream come true."

CULTURAL MISUNDERSTANDINGS: "Most people in my country think K-pop is in Chinese," Tabet said. "I don't know why. It kind of annoys me because I always have to correct them."

FAVORITE GROUP: 2PM

FAVORITE 2PM SONG: "Again & Again"

WHY 2PM: "I love them not just because they are the first K-pop group I got to know but also for their hard work and their spontaneous personalities," Tabet said. "It's always fun to watch them. To me, they are the ones who love their fans the most."

FAVORITE SOLO ARTIST: G-Dragon of Big Bang

WHY: "He's just awesome and he's a true talent," Tabet said. "I love his weirdness and also his warm caring heart."

FUTURE STARS: "The rising K-pop stars I recommend are JYP's hip-hop boy group GOT7," Tabet said. "They're going to be a huge hit with their energetic performances and amazing dance moves. They're the next 2PM, but with their own style and personality."
