EXID won their first trophy on the January 8th episode of Mnet's 'M! Countdown.'

For the January 8th episode of 'M! Countdown,' the music show did not broadcast a regular program. Instead of seeing great performances from some of your favorite K-pop idols, the music show broadcasted a '2015 Perseverance M! Countdown Goo Hae Ra' special.

While there were no performances, a winner was announced on the music program. The winner was EXID as they won their first trophy on the music show for their single titled, "Up & Down." The group posted a tweet on their official Twitter page on January 8th to thank their fans for giving them a trophy.

The tweet read, "LEGGO, thank you for making January 8, 2015 a day that we will never forget. >.< We'll become an EXID that works even harder. :D."

EXID will continue with promotions on the other music programs for this week.
