While some anime fans may be reeling over the U.S. adaptation of "Ghost in the Shell" that just landed Scarlett Johannson as its lead actress, Japan is focused on its own upcoming anime film.

This means that there will be plenty of "Ghost in the Shell" for everyone.

An all new trailer for the upcoming 2015 "Ghost in the Shell" animated movie was released today. While the text in the video (which is available below) is mostly a celebration of the upcoming 25 year anniversary of "Ghost in the Shell" there's also a preview of the newest designs for Major Motoko Kusanagi.

So far, fans have reacted positively to the new teaser video for "Ghost in the Shell."

"Hmm, I'll be optimistic about this and hope for a speedy release date. Really wish the trailer showed more animation though but I think this could be good," commented Stark700 in an ANN forum.

"Ooo. I'm game for watching this. I hope it's released soon," exclaimed SailorDJ

"It does look good in [the] teaser video. I just hope they're moving forward with Arise's storyline versus another start from the beginning again film," said Wrangler.

"Ghost in the Shell," a manga series originally created by Masamune Shirow, will be adapted into a new anime in Japan this summer. It is set to be directed by Kazuchika Kise and written/adapted by Tow Ubukata.

Additionally, the film will retain its cast from "Ghost in the Shell Arise" with Maaya Sakamoto, Ikkyuu Juku, Kenichirou Matsuda, Tarusuke Shingaki, Shusuke Sakuya, Takurou Nakakuni, Youji Ueda, Kazuya Nakai, and Miyuki Sawashiro.

Although there's been no confirmation of plot or speculation based on a full trailer, there will likely be more information as the 2015 Summer release date approaches.
