VH1 Selects 2NE1's CL As 1 Of 15 Female Rappers To Watch Out For In 2015

2NE1’s leader CL has been chosen as one of the female rappers to watch out for in 2015.

Many media and news have been spotlighting CL within these first few weeks of 2015 as they anticipate her solo debut in the states, according to reports.

Music cable channel VH1 revealed this past Wednesday a list of the ’15 Female Rappers To Watch In 2015’ which included CL.

VH1 commented, “With male rappers taking over the hip-hop scene, there are some female rappers to watch out for in 2015.

For CL they stated, “K-Pop girl group 2NE1’s leader CL’s U.S. solo debut is one to watch out for. CL has also signed a contract with Scooter Braun and will be able to show off a unique and fresh rap this year. We hope to see her fresh and shocking image.”

Along with CL, other female rappers on the list included Think, Angel Haze, Lizzo and more.

Fuse TV revealed on Thursday a ’10 Breakout Artists for 2015’ list and also mentioned CL as well.

Fuse commented, “CL has received praise from Diplo, M.I.A, Snoop Dogg and is truly an acknowledged star. CL will be making her U.S. debut with Scooter Braun, who also works with Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande. CL will be able to show her solo power through her debut in the states.”

Fuse also added that CL’s “Mental Breakdown” was one of the highlights from 2NE1’s ‘Crush’ album.

Other media that have spotlighted CL include the Rolling Stones, MTV IGGY, Billboard, Dazed & Confused and more as they anticipate her debut.

According to reports, CL has signed a contract with Scooter Braun’s SB Projects and will make her debut this spring.
