Today marks another exciting episode of "Tokyo Ghoul" season two. Episode two entitled, "Dancing Flowers," was simulcast to fans outside of Japan courtesy of Funimation. Synopsis:

This week's episode continues the fight against Owl. The soldiers are badly injured. Meanwhile, Arima is missing from an Investigators Conference. They note that the Aogiri ghouls have taken the 9th and 10th ward, and that they are lead by an eyepatch ghoul who is also responsible for the murder of Investigator Mado in the 20th ward. Shinohara is charged with looking into the Aogiri.

Back at the Anteiku café, Nishiki complains that the work that day is too hard. He asks Hinami if she wants to take a little break so that the consensus in the shop will shift toward taking a break. Meanwhile at school, Touka hears the students talking about evacuations in certain wards due to the ghouls.

The leader of the Investigators meeting declares that the CCG must eradicate both the Owl and the Aogiri. Hideyoki delivers something to Shinohara as he exits the building and notes that the Owl seemed to be moving slower than usual when they were fighting him.

Kaneki is with the Aogiri in the aftermath of what appears to be another slaughtering. Kaneki hasn't changed however as he lets a man hide and survive. Meanwhile, Amon visits the grave of Mado and updates him on his investigation progress into "The Binge Eater" and "Gourmet." He runs into his new partner Mado Akira at the gravesite. Akira was number one at the Police Academy. Takizawa was number two.

Akira announces that she believes "The Binge Eater" is dead (as the audience knows her organs are now in Kaneki). She also proposes that there exists a ghoul organization in the 20th ward despite what they previously believed. Later, Amon asks Akira to show more respect, but she says it's a waste of time to do that. Shinohara advises Amon to take Akira out to dinner to reconcile their difficult beginnings as partners. She refuses though.

Yoriko and Touka meet up to study together. Touka tells her that she wants to go to Kamii college. Yoriko figures it's because her "boyfriend" goes there, but Touka denies it. Later that night, Kaneki makes some coffee before the Aogiri drags him out. The next day the Anteiku café re-opens with a celebration.

The episode ends with a member of the Aogiri taking off her bandages and whispering Kaneki's name.
