Romeo Beckham Amps Burberry Sales; David And Victoria Beckham's Son Definitely Has The Family Magic?

Romeo Beckham helped Burberry amp up its sales as David and Victoria Beckham's son proved that he's also a top draw.

In a report from The Guardian, Burberry acknowledged the Christmas advertising campaign headlined by Romeo Beckham for the jump in sales in US, Europe and Middle East. The ad also helped pick up the declining sales in Hong Kong.

"Sales of Burberry coats, bags and fashion climbed 14% to just over £600m in the three months to the end of December," it said. "That was better than City retail analysts had expected and Burberry bosses said the adverts featuring Beckham junior had been a big success."

The Burberry Christmas campaign featured David and Victoria Beckham's son wearing a trenchcoat. Along with 50 dancers, he spun an umbrella in what appeared to be London. The ad was posted on YouTube and already generated more than nine million views.

"A 10% increase in sales of trenchcoats followed, with demand particularly strong in the US," Guardian said. "That offset a fall in sales in Hong Kong, which usually accounts for 10% of Burberry's global sales, as civil rights protestors camped out in the streets."

Romeo Beckham's oldest brother, Brooklyn Beckham, is also venturing into modeling. Chloe Grace Moretz's rumored boyfriend was already featured in several magazine covers, including the New York Times' T magazine. In one of the photos, she is joined by British model Jean Campbell.

David and Victoria Beckham's oldest son made his debut back in March on the cover of Man About Town mag.

According to Daily Mail, Romeo Beckham received a cool £45,000 for headlining the Burberry Christmas ad campaign but the fashion label has not confirmed the report with any kind of statement. The British tabloid also said that Simon Fuller, Victoria Beckham's manager when she was still with Spice Girl, reportedly negotiated the deal.
