'Full House, Take 2' First Mini-Series Simultaneous Broadcast in Japan and Korea

SBS PLUS original drama "Full House, Take 2" is the first mini-series to air simultaneously in Korea and in Japan.

The drama premiered on Monday and it will also begin broadcasting on Japan's TBS starting on the 29th. 

"Full House 2" was co-produced by Korea, Japan and China and it drew a lot of attention for the collaboration. It was planned for over 2 years and the solid storyline and the shoots which occurred on location in three different countries, making the drama one of epic scale.

Many also say that it has a fresh take on the romantic comedy genre and that it seems very well done and of high quality.

Because of how much buzz has surrounded the drama and how the actors are already becoming incredibly popular in Japan, the production crew expects that it will take the three countries by storm. Roh Min Woo and Park Ki Woong, who appear as idol stars, have been receiving just as much attention.

The production company said, "This is a really rare case where the drama completed all of its shooting before airing and it will be the first one that was really well-made and well-planned out. It will take the viewers' attention from the get go and already is doing well. We wanted to make sure that we pleased the fans in all three countries that have been waiting for this."

The drama is a sequel to a 2004 drama starring Song Hye Kyo and Rain, which was incredibly popular at the time.

The new drama stars Hwang Jung Eum, Roh Min Woo, Park Ki Woong and more. It airs Monday through Thursday.
