'Kuroko's Basketball' Season 3 Gets Streamed On Crunchyroll With Two Week Delays

Winter anime season continues to heat up with some series' now streaming their second episode. But perhaps it's better late than never for "Kuroko's Basketball" season three.

After somewhat of an outcry from fans, Crunchyroll is finally set to stream the latest season of popular sports anime season "Kuroko's Basketball." Unfortunately the stream schedule will force fans to wait two weeks after the Japanese premiere before they can watch it. The first episode will be available on Crunchyroll starting Jan. 23.

Earlier this month when it was announced that Daisuki would be streaming "Kuroko's Basketball" season three, fans expressed their desire to watch the series on Crunchyroll.

"But I want CR to stream Kuroko too," said Ruichama.

"When will Crunchyroll get this one please? Not happy that it is not in Crunchyroll right now," commented Gjapples

"I feel like I got punched in the stomach. I really hope cr gets this," explained Kitanoseiya.

Lucky for those fans, Anime News Network reports today that Crunchyroll will stream "Kuroko's Basketball" season three to North America, South America, United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden.

My Anime List describes "Kuroko's Basketball" anime series as follows:

"The Teiko Middle School Basketball Team. The class that produced three perfect seasons in a row, with five once-in-a generation players, called "The Generation of Miracles." There was another player who all of them respected... A legendary 6th player. An up-and-coming power player, Taiga Kagami, is just back from America. When he comes to Seirin High School, he meets the super-ordinary boy, Tetsuya Kuroko.

Kagami is shocked to find that Kuroko isn't good at basketball, in fact, he's bad! And he's so plain that he's impossible to see. But Kuroko's plainness lets him pass the ball around without the other team noticing him, and he's none other than the sixth member of the Miracle Generation.

Kuroko makes a pact with Kagami to defeat the other members of the Miracle Generation, who have all played basketball at other schools. A battle of light (Kagami) and shadow (Kuroko) begins!"
