According to TVGuide, the synopsis for tonight's episode 12 reads: "Gordon tries to get his job back by capturing Jack Gruber, a deranged electrical genius who escaped from Arkham Asylum. Meanwhile, Falcone struggles to hold onto his empire when Fish Mooney makes her next move."

Cartermatt.com reports that it looks like Morena Baccarin is going to be around this series for a while and may even get promoted to a series regular if "Gotham" is renewed for season 2 - be on the lookout for Gordon to grow closer to Dr. Leslie Thompkins in tonight's episode.

The publication also notes what to expect in episode 12: "What Gordon is up against here is one of his most dangerous foes yet in Jack Gruber, who you could also call the Electrocutioner. He has already put quite a few of the residents of Arkham Asylum through terrible and deadly paces, and now, the man is loose on the city itself. Gordon may not be the favorite child of the GCPD at the moment, but they may need his knowledge of Gruber to be able to track him down and get him back into Arkham Asylum."
