Anime and comic book fans alike are notorious for wondering what might happen in a fight between two characters might look like. Sometimes, creators will mirror fan wishes and manage to pit two surprising characters against each other to make for an interesting fight.

Luckily for "Dragon Ball Z" fans, it's often possible to witness those epic battles through video games.

In fact, fans can now preview some new epic fights in an all new "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" gameplay trailer. One of the main fights depicted in the new trailer is two of the most famous characters from the series: Piccolo and Nappa.

It's not surprising that Piccolo is so popular among fans as even "Dragon Ball" creator Akira Toriyama, once stated that his personal favorite character was Piccolo:

"I believe mine would be Piccolo. He was the first character in my manga where I was like, 'He has a scary face, but he's so cool!' It really is cliché when bad guys turn into good guys, but it just feels great drawing it" exclaimed Toriyama (via The Grand Online).

Given the amount of views videos with Nappa have on Youtube, a fight between the pair is a surefire way to get the attention of "Dragon Ball Z" fans.

Anime News Network reports that additional fights depicted in the video include Super Saiyan Goku 3 versus Super Buu and Trunks versus Android 18. Fans can view all these fights in the new "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" trailer below.

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse" will be available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 platforms in Japan on February 5, 2015. United States fans will have to wait until Feb. 24. Finally, Europe will receive the game on Feb. 27. It will also debut on PC via Steam on Feb. 27.
