New Single 'One Fine Day' By CNBLUE's Jung Yong Hwa Tops iTunes Charts In 6 Countries

CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa has made a comeback as a solo artist and has topped 6 countries iTunes charts.

According to iTunes, on January 21st, Jung Yong Hwa’s first solo album, One Fine Day, topped Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippine, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand’s iTunes album charts.

In Japan, he ranked second and in Indonesia he was ranked third with his album.

Looking at the iTunes charts, it was seen that he was mostly popular around China. His title song, “One Fine Day,” was seen at the number one spot on China’s music video site, Yin Yue Tai V Chart. He was also seen at number one on Taiwan’s Checkmate chart and Singapore’s KKBOX music chart.

After news of his solo release, he was also seen on various Chinese websites and magazines as well. Sina.com, Ten Cent, 163.com, Yin Yue Tai are some of the sites that featured Jung Yong Hwa’s solo album release.

On January 22nd, he will perform his first comeback stage on Mnet “M! Countdown” and continue to perform on various music programs for the rest of the week.

Jung Yong Hwa also recently held his album showcase on January 19th and revealed that YB Band vocalist Yoon Do Hyun was his role model.

The two collaborated for Jung Yong Hwa’s album, making it a lasting memory for him.

“It’s good to see that you’re improving and getting deeper with your music,” Yoon Do Hyun commented to Jung Yong Hwa.
