Lee Hi has been the newest addition to YG Entertainment for 2012.

Lee Hi was one of the runner ups for season 1 of SBS "K-Pop Star"and signed a contract with YG Entertainment shortly thereafter.

On October 29, she released her debut album on various music sites and blogs.

Right after her release, she ranked number 1 on many real-time music sites. Her debut seemed much more successful than the other two winners from "K-Pop Star."

Lee Hi also featured in Epik High's new song, "It's Cold" before her official debut and this song continues to be in high ranking on the charts.

Busker Busker led the first half of the year and YG artists took over the second half of the year.

Big Bang started if off in March with their 5th album and in June with their special edition album. 2NE1 came back in July as well.

Psy also came back with his 6th album title song "Gangnam Style" and became a global sensation. After came Epik High and finally Lee Hi.

Lee Hi has received an overwhelming amount of positive feedback and praise for her debut album.

An YG official stated, "We are thankful that many people believe that we were able to focus on Lee Hi's strong points in her album."
