Instagram Post From Super Junior's Siwon Causes Relationship Rumors To Spread [UPDATE]
Siwon shared a picture on Instagram that may imply he will be the next Super Junior to go public with a relationship.
On January 24, Super Junior’s Siwon posted a simple picture on Instagram, which merely said, “sorry gorgeous, I’m taken.” The picture has led to much consternation from fans, many of whom have commented on Instagram with a variety of different reactions.
Fans have taken to social media and reacted in different ways. Some fans have surmised that Siwon means he’s in a relationship with his fans, Super Junior’s ELF (Everlasting Friends fanclub. Meanwhile, other fans have taken it to mean that this is how he’s confessing actually being in a relationship and have shown both anger and delight towards one of Super Junior’s most popular members.
Some comments even point out that the picture prior to the latest is a picture of Siwon’s dog, and he may be talking about his dog.
As one of the younger members in one of K-pop’s older idol groups, some fans simply told Siwon that it’s about time he admitted to being in a relationship.
Although Siwon has yet to clarify the meaning of his picture, it is not out of the realm of possibility for him to confess to being in a relationship. If that is the case, Siwon would be the third member of Super Junior to have gone public with a relationship in the past few years, one of which led to a recent marriage. Super Junior became one of the first idol groups in South Korea to have a married member when Sungmin got married in September.
Several of Super Junior’s members are over thirty-years-old and have already returned from their obligatory service in the Korean army. Although Siwon is one of the youngest members of Super Junior, he shared the picture several days before his 28th birthday. The meaning is as of yet unclear.
Siwon since added another picture to his Instagram, clarifying everything.
