INFINITE H Discuss Inspiration Behind New Album 'Fly Again'

INFINITE H shared many secrets behind their latest album, "Fly Again."

Dongwoo and Hoya of INFINITE, the two members of INFINITE H, held a press conference and showcase for their newest album on January 26. During the event, the pair performed several of the songs off of their new album, “Fly Again.” They also revealed several details that helped bring about the subgroup’s first comeback since 2013’s “Fly High.”

E News World (via Newsen) reported on what INFINITE H revealed at the event, particularly about the album’s title song, “Pretty.” Hoya and Dongwoo both wanted to imagine their ideal of pretty while writing the song, but the two had different takes on the term.

Dongwoo took to Seoul to find his ideal of pretty. “Because every woman is so pretty,” he explained, “I went on subway trains to find pretty women and wrote the song. It’s a song that I’m giving to all of you.”

Dongwoo’s explanation seems pretty amusing, but Hoya insists that Dongwoo’s search for pretty actually took place. “You think he’s joking, but it’s true.”

In comparison, Hoya wrote the song about his mother. “ I saw her for the first time in a while, and she looked really pretty."

Dongwoo also discussed his thought process behind the song, “Unless You’re Crazy.”

“There was this older girl that I really liked when I was a senior in high school. “Unless You’re Crazy” is about the betrayal that I felt towards her,” the singer said, according to E News World. “You all know her, right? She’s the lollipop kissing older girl.”

However, before he could get further when describing his high school crush, Hoya put a stop to Dongwoo’s stream of consciousness, causing laughter in the audience.

At the showcase, Dongwoo also promised to dress up as a girl if INFINITE H wins number one with “Fly Again.”
