Today marks another all new episode of "Parasyte the Maxim." Episode 16 entitled "Happy Family" was simulcast to fans outside of Japan thanks to Crunchyroll. For those without subscriptions however, below are two links to websites where fans can watch "Parasyte the Maxim" for free online.

Synopsis:

This week's episode opens with the murder of Shirou Kuramori's family. Meanwhile, Shinichi and Migi face off against the Miki parasite. It seems to be a problem for Shinichi and Migi because both of them are exhausted. Shinichi reasons they should aim for the legs. This however doesn't work. Migi does however figure out they should aim for the head and decapitate him.

The strategy however merely results in the discovery that there are five parasites instead of three inside Miki. Miki switches controls and now the parasite is truly formidable. Shinichi runs. Migi grabs them a ride on the back of a truck but they're caught by Miki who has morphed his legs to run as fast as 60 mph.

With some quick thinking Migi manages to get Miki knocked off their ride by another truck and they escape. Shinichi buys some clothes and food. He and Migi overhear that Kuramori's family has been attacked. Shinichi warns his father to leave the house as he expects the parasites will come after his family next.

Shinichi lays down for a quick nap and meets with Migi in his dreams again. Kuramori suffers as he's offered the chance to avenge his murdered family. He instead decides to take matters into his own hands. Meanwhile, Reiko appears to be changing from her initial parasite behaviors, leading to a plot against her from within her organization.

Finally, Murano attempts to find Shinichi to return his bag and patch things up.
