Today marks another exciting new episode of "Tokyo Ghoul: Root A" or "Tokyo Ghoul" season two. Episode four entitled "Deeper Layers" was simulcast to fans outside of Japan thanks to Funimation. For those without subscriptions however, below are two links to websites where episodes of "Tokyo Ghoul" season two are streaming for free online.

Synopsis:

Yoshitoki and Waru discuss Yoshitoki's return to the field/hunt for the Owl. Meanwhile, as Akira and Amon head to the Cochlea facility, it appears that Aogiri are planning to blow up the place.

Amon meets with an SS rated prisoner who used to be Amon's orphanage "father." He was a mass murderer before he was imprisoned. He quickly questions the man about the Owl and the Aogiri before an attack on the Cochlea begins. It's the Aogiri. They make quick work of most of the guards and Kaneki follows up the rear.

The guards try to seal the place off but Kaneki and Ayato use their powers to continue to infiltrate. Kaneki retrieves Mr. Shachi. He slaps Kaneki down seemingly because he smells like Rize, the Ghoul that he received organs from.

Akira faces off with the S-rated Naki Ghoul. Akira manages to stab Naki and give him a good dose of CRC gas. Naki however takes a good chunk out of Akira's leg. The Aogiri surrounds them. Kaneki also struggles in his fight with Shachi Kameshiro. Elsewhere, battles continue to rage between ghouls and Cochlea guards.

Ayato specifically faces his own Father who uses an Arata to transform himself.

Kaneki tries one last time to face off against Sachi. Kaneki however is ultimately knocked out of the Cochlea building. He wakes up and vows that he has responsibility for deaths in his life because of his weakness. So, he has to get up. For Touka and Hide.
